Marine and I created this image together. We started off by defining what the internet looks like to us, and then branched off by defining terms of how others might describe the internet. We then grouped the terms into positives, negatives, and neutrals. We then had the idea to recreate Da Vinci’s mural where the hands are reaching for each other, and put positives and negatives on each hand, with both hands reaching towards the neutrals in between them.

To us, this represents every aspect of the internet, whether you want to acknowledge them or not. While the internet has a lot of positives, there are also a lot of negatives that we need to be aware of. When rebuilding the internet, it would be hard to exclude any drawbacks. That is why we included the good and the bad when thinking about the main aspects of the internet.
